About Logan
Logan Logic (formerly Logan Resource Group) was incorporated in 1997 after
being a sole proprietorship since 1991. Kirk Johnson founded it and now jointly
owns it with Darryl Havlicek. We've enjoyed opportunities to provide software
development and project management for companies such as American Express, Wells
Fargo, Northwest Airlines, Target, and many smaller, local
companies.
What's the story behind our name?
"Logan" is a family name, honoring Kirk Johnson's father,
Logan Johnson, who started Polivka-Logan Designs in 1968. Polivka-Logan was an
architectural and product design company. One of many notable accomplishments was designing the innovative "C" shape housing for the Cray-1®
research computer.
So although the two Logan companies offer different services, each company
relies on specialized logic and design.
What's in our future?
We are preparing to augment our existing Web-related services.
We will focus on business-to-business and business-to-customer solutions for
medium and smaller companies in the Twin Cities area in 2002. Logan Logic is
forming strategic alliances with a subset of our affiliations
in order to excel in this market area.
We will also continue to offer superb project management for efforts
exceeding annual budgets of $2M
